Recently, the University of Danang’s campus in Kontum (UDCK) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation with the departments of education and sports of Southern Laos provinces: Attapeu, Champasak, Salavan.

According to Dr. Nguyen Phi Hung, Director of the UDCK, said that UDCK aims to continue to have closer cohesion, cooperation and support with Southern Laos provinces in student recruitment, Vietnamese language training, thereby contributing to strengthening and cultivating the traditional relationship between Laos and Vietnam.

Speaking at the signing ceremony, Mr. Boua Thong Sou Van Na Sane – Director of the Department of Education and Sports of Champasak province, respectfully thanked the UDCK leaders for training Lao students for many years. Most of the Lao graduates worked effectively, contributed positively to the socio-economic development of localities and businesses of Laos.

Representatives of leaders of the Department of Education and Sports of Southern Laos provinces expressed their wish and affirmed to continue accompanying UDCK in educational cooperation.

Immediately after signing the cooperation agreement, these departments of Lao provinces will soon deploy cooperation contents, introduce UDCK’s programs to Lao parents and students, at the same time create favorable conditions and opportunities for more and more Lao students to study and experience in UDCK.
