For International Colleges and Universities organization (4icu) announced the uniRank™-2023, in which the University of Danang (UD) was ranked in the top 3 universities in Vietnam.

UniRank™ is an international higher education ranking system that evaluates and ranks more than 13,600 universities in more than 200 countries and territories. UniRank™ exploits a large database and measures indicators based on a website platform.

Universities ranked according to uniRank™ have to satisfy the following conditions: Licensed and/or accredited by an organization relating to legal higher education in Vietnam, granting undergraduate degrees with the training period for at least 04 years or post-graduate (Master or PhD) with face-to-face learning method.

UniRank™ evaluates  universities basing on a website database that is independently researched and evaluated by uniRank itself; it is unaffected by data provided by each university; continuously updated, researched and ranked not because of commercial nature, therefore it is reliable, interested and popular in Vietnam as well as in the world.

University ranking is a tool to identify universities, an information channel to support society and learners to choose a suitable school; help universities orient their development strategies and international integration, demonstrate social responsibility as well as serve as a basis for management agencies, businesses and partners to plan the cooperation and investment policies. This is an important content reflected in the revised Law on Higher Education No. 34/2018/QH14.
