The University of Danang (UD) and its member schools will offer a 20 billion VND bailout for their students amid COVID-19 (Coronavirus) financial hardship.
Accordingly, students will have their tuition fees reduced by 5% for the 2nd semester of the 2019 – 2020 academic year with a total amount of reduced fees reaching approximately 13 billion VND.

The beneficiaries are all full-time, in service education and postgraduate students at all UD’s member universities.
Financial assistance will be additionally given to online learners (support for high-speed Internet connection, database access, learning softwares), whilst scholarships will be granted to necessitous students during the pandemic.
Besides, the deadlines for tuition and fees payments for the 2019 – 2020 academic year will be extended.
Meanwhile, the remaining 7 billion VND will be spent to implement necessary preventive measures at UD’s member universities and affiliations after students’ comeback.
The funding for the above-mentioned two financial assistance packages is deducted from regular savings and welfare of UD and its member universities.
