On April 25, 2024, the University of Danang (UD) held a specialized training session on media and communication with the participation of delegates and nearly 60 officers who are working in communication tasks of the UD’s member universities, affiliated units.

Attending the program were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Thanh Bac – Vice President of the UD, leaders of Center for Learning Information Resource and Communication (CLIRC-UD), journalist Tran Ngoc, photographer Ong Van Sinh, leader representatives from different units of the UD, and the participants.

In his opening speech, the UD’s Vice President Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Thanh Bac said that this is an opportunity for communication officers to exchange ideas and learn experience from experts, thereby continuing to do well in educational communication, promoting the academic reputation of the UD.

Vice President Le Thanh Bac acknowledged and highly appreciated the CLIRC-UD and communication units of member universities/affiliated units for their efforts in communication work in recent time with many improvements and outstanding results.

The UD’s leader requested that member universities, affiliated units continue to pay attention, create favorable conditions, and consider communication work as a regular and central task that needs to be continuously improved and applied multimedia technology.

At the training session, delegates were trained and guided in professional orientation and skills by prestigious experts with 2 topics:

(1) Working skills, interacting with the media and preparing press releases (journalist Tran Ngoc);

(2) Press and media photography skills (photographer Ong Van Sinh).
