The University of Danang signed a cooperation agreement with Konan University (Japan)

On 8th October, the University of Danang (UD) and Konan University (KU) held the virtual MOU signing ceremony with the co-chair of the UD’s Vice President Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Quang Son and KU’s President Itsuko Nakai.
There was also the participation of leader representatives from Center of International Exchange – KU, Department of International Cooperation – UD.
Speaking at the ceremony, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Quang Son highly appreciated the significance of signing MOU between two sides, thereby opening up new opportunities to strengthen cooperation towards sustainable development.
Vice President Le Quang Son introduced the overview and highlights of the UD as a key regional university including 6 member universities and several affiliated units.
The two universities have many suitable disciplines and fields of training – research to promote their potentials and advantages to meet the needs of common interests.

For her part, Prof. Itsuko Nakai expressed her joy to develop cooperation opportunities by signing MOU with the UD.
The KU’s leader hoped that in the coming time, it will send staff and students to the UD for exchanging culture and language, which is a basis for next cooperation activities.
According to the Mou content signed, UD and Konan University will promote cooperation according to the key contents such as: Promoting academic and educational exchange; Exchanging lecturers and students; Connect supporting mutual visitors of professors and researchers; Coordinate with university, post -university training and internship programs for students; Seek funding for common projects; Cooperating in organizing scientific conferences and seminars; Exchange information, publications and educational materials, research.
