To provide opportunities for access to advanced academic knowledge and create a platform for international scientific exchange, the University of Danang -  University of Economics  (UD-DUE) organized an academic seminar series featuring professors from Babes-Bolyai University (Romania) and the University of Liege (Belgium).

Prof. Călin Hințea shared effective methods for developing strategic plans for local communities, emphasizing the role of university-community collaboration in promoting sustainable development. The seminar provided practical insights into how universities can contribute to the planning and implementation of local development strategies.

Academic Seminar with Prof. Mario Cools, University of Liege (Belgium) Topic: "Unlocking Mobility Data, Behavior, and Sustainable Planning for the Future"

The speaker shared various data sources used to measure transportation behavior and explained methods for utilizing user data to build digital twins. This opened discussions on policy implications, such as road pricing and free public transport. Additionally, Prof. Mario Cools highlighted potential future research directions in Vietnam, including motorcycle safety, transitioning from motorcycles to public transport, and logistics service quality.

The seminar series not only provided valuable information but also opened up opportunities for research collaboration between UD-DUE and top global universities. This marks a significant step forward in fostering an international academic environment and enhancing the quality of education at UD-DUE.

On the same day, representatives of UD-DUE leadership welcomed a delegation from Babes-Bolyai University (Romania) to strengthen cooperation in education and scientific research.

Prof. Dr. Doan Ngoc Phi Anh, Vice Rector, along with representatives from the Office of Science and International Cooperation and the Faculty of Economics. The meeting aimed to enhance educational and research collaboration between the two universities.

During the discussion, both sides explored opportunities for collaboration in training, faculty and student exchange programs, and joint scientific research projects. The meeting took place in a warm and productive atmosphere, marking a significant step forward in the partnership between the two universities. Both sides committed to continuing discussions and promoting specific collaboration programs shortly.
