The University of Danang’s delegation attended the Erasmus plus-funded HARMONY project meetings in Lithuania and Spain


From 4 to 16 September, 2022, the delegation of the University of Danang (UD) included Dr. Huynh Phuong Nam – Director of Department of Personnel Department; Dr. Nguyen Thanh Dat – Secretary of the Youth Union and Mr. Trinh Quang Chinh – Officer of the Department of International Cooperation attended the meetings within the framework of the HARMONY project funded by the European Union, which took place at Mykolas Romeris University (Lithuania) and University of Zaragoza (Spain).

At Mykolas Romeris University - MRU (Lithuania), the UD members learned about the MRU's internationalization strategy, its international student admission, the process of educational assessment, evaluation and quality assurance, etc. In particular, MRU focuses on the introduction of training and student exchange within the framework of the Erasmus program funded by the European Union. The good practice relating to Integration of international students including the whole cycle starting from Introductory week, orientation, student mentors activities, socio-cultural integration, mid-term follow-up, counselling and related services during entire study period has been valuable experience to facilitate the process of Internationalization at home.

At the University of Zaragoza - UniZar (Spain), the UD delegation discussed UniZar's international cooperation strategy as well as the partnerships between European universities and partners in Asia. At UniZar, the UD members also had the opportunity to acquire experiences in project management, scientific research, cultural exchange programs, student exchange etc

During this working trip, the UD delegation introduced and discussed the practice of international cooperation, scientific research and teaching with international partners. In addition, the UD team reported the project progress in specific activities such as organizing a storytelling video-making competition, building a space for cultural exchange named Friends TeaHouse. At the same time, UD members discussed specifically with partners the organization of HARMONY project meeting at the UD, which is scheduled to take place in early November 2022.
