Recently, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Quang Son – Vice President of the University of Danang (UD), hosted the meeting with Mr. Luis Agustin Costas – Charge d’affaires, Argentine Embassy to Vietnam.

Attending the meeting were leader representatives from the UD’s functional departments (International Cooperation, Science – Technology and Environment) and Department of Research and International Cooperation – University of Science and Technology – UD.

At the meeting, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Quang Son introduced an overview of the UD as a leading center for education, training, scientific research and international cooperation in the Central and Central Highlands particularly, in Vietnam generally.

The UD’s Vice President welcomed the visit and thanked the Argentine Embassy in Vietnam for its interest in cooperating with the UD. At the same time, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Quang Son expressed his wish that the UD would have many opportunities to cooperate with Argentine partners thanks to the support and connection of the Argentine Embassy in Vietnam.

Speaking to the UD’s leader, Charge d’affaires Luis Agustin Costas sent his thanks for the UD’s solemn reception.

Mr. Costas hoped that in the coming time, the two sides would strengthen cooperation in the fields of education, science and cultural exchange, especially between the UD and Argentine universities that have similarities such as the University of Buenos Aires.

The Argentine Charge d’affaires also shared his interest in developing the potential of Spanish language training for the UD’s staff, lecturers and students.
