The University of Science and Technology - The University of Danang opened the 186th assessment of 04 AUN-QA standard training programs

This morning, October 26, 2020, University of Science and Technology – The University of Danang (UD) solemnly held the Opening Ceremony of the 186th AUN-QA Standard Assessment.
04 training programs to be evaluated AUN-QA this time include: Mechanical Engineering (major in Dynamic Engineering); Mechatronic Engineering; Construction Engineering (major in Civil and Industrial Construction); Biotechnology.

The opening session was chaired by Prof.Dr. Shahrir Abdullah - Vice Chairman of the Board of Education Quality Assurance of the Southeast Asian University Network (AUN), Head of the AUN-QA Assessment Team and members from Malaysia, Laos, the Philippines and Thailand .
According to representatives of AUN and the University, this was the 186th Assessment of AUN and the 4th time at University of Science and Technology - UD. The remarkable point was that in order to adapt to the context of the COVID-19 prevention, for the first time, AUN's assessment team has worked, surveyed and evaluated training programs online.

Up to now, University of Science and Technology - UD has had 12 training programs accredited and met the international quality standards, in which 09 training programs have been evaluated to meet AUN-QA Standard and 03 training programs have been evaluated to meet European standard CTI.
As planned, AUN's assessment team would work from October 8 to October 30, which conducted many professional activities with stakeholders such as: Document analysis and survey, self-assessment report and proofs; stakeholders interview (leaders, scientific board, faculties, disciplines, lecturers, students, service staff, alumni, employers, etc.); comprehensive assessment of facilities, services, facilities for training, scientific research and other related activities, etc.
