On June 15, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Quang Son-Vice President of the University of Danang (UD) and Prof. Dr. Lavrinovich Dmitry Sergeevich-Vice Rector of Mogilev State A.Kuleshov University (MSAU), Belarus co-chaired the virtual MoU signing ceremony.

Attending the ceremony were also Mr. Machekin Sergei Nikolaevich - Head of the International Relations Department of MSAU and senior representatives of the International Cooperation Department, UD.

At the ceremony, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Quang Son highly appreciated the significance of the MoU signing ceremony between the two sides, which is considered as a milestone opening up opportunities to promote cooperation basing on mutual needs, potentials, and strengths for the sustainable development.

Vice President Le Quang Son also briefly introduced the overview and highlights of UD with its new role and position in the development strategy of striving to become one of the three Vietnamese leading centers of training and scientific research, reaching the prestige and international position. To realize that goal, UD always attached great importance to deepen international cooperation relationships, including with European universities such as MSU.

Talking with UD’s leaders, Prof. Dr. Lavrinovich Dmitry Sergeevich-MSAU’s Vice Rector said that MSAU is a university with a long-tradition development specializing in training and scientific research in different fields, especially in the field of social sciences and humanities. There are also majors such as: History, Philosophy, Pedagogy, Primary Education, Child Psychology, Physical Education, Music, Economics, Law, Foreign Languages... from undergraduate to graduate level.

Highly appreciating the capacity and spirit of learning and doing research of Vietnamese students, especially basing on the fact of international students studying and doing research at MSAU, MSAU’s Vice Rector expressed his desire that through the signed MOU with UD, there would be more UD’s students coming to study and develop their capacity at MSAU in the upcoming time.

According to the signed MOU, in the coming time, the two sides would promote key cooperation activities in scientific research and education with the following contents: exchange of experts, lecturers and students; co-training programs; joint research projects; co-organization of events, scientific conferences and cultural exchanges; Exchange of publications, academic and scientific documents…

In addition, Vice President Le Quang Son also shared that there were many faculties for training international foreign languages ​​and cultures, including the Faculty of Russian language at UD-University of Foreign Language Studies – one of UD’s member universities. This would be a favorable condition for the two sides to deploy the cooperation activities and student exchange, thereby creating opportunities for students to learn and exchange languages ​​and cultures.

MSU is a university located in Mogilev, Republic of Belarus. MSU has a long tradition of training and research (founded in 1913) with many alumni, students becoming well-known scientists, writers, politicians, athletes of Belarus.
