On August 24, 2026, the University of Danang - University of Economics UD-DUE  successfully hosted the Welcome and Orientation Program for international exchange students for the first semester of the 2026–2027 academic year, welcoming students from nine partner universities in France, Germany, Finland, and Taiwan (China).

According to Assoc. Prof. Dr. Doan Ngoc Phi Anh, Vice President of UD-DUE, this event is organized right in the first week of the new 2026–2027 academic year, blending into the back-to-school atmosphere of regular students, freshmen, and international students alike. It aims to inspire creative learning and foster a strong sense of connection with the university.

Through the program, international students from institutions such as Côte d'Azur University, Polytechnique Hauts-de-France, the University of Rennes, and the University of Caen Normandy (France); Münster University of Applied Sciences, Frankfurt University of Applied Sciences, and Westphalian University of Applied Sciences (Germany); Haaga-Helia University of Applied Sciences (Finland); and National Chengchi University (Taiwan, China) had the opportunity to learn about and swiftly integrate into the academic environment, as well as grasp essential information regarding support and companion services at UD-DUE.

During the event, representatives from functional departments provided international students with a comprehensive overview of the university, along with key regulations concerning their rights and responsibilities throughout their studies and training. This was also an opportunity for various units to connect with and support international students, ensuring better service and assistance.

The highlight of the program was an open and friendly Q&A interaction session, allowing international students to discuss and exchange views with faculty members and Vietnamese students regarding the campus environment, study pathways, examinations, residency procedures, and the diverse experiential activities available during their time at the university.

Carrying the message “DUE is your university too,” it is hoped that this enthusiastic start will inspire international students not only to achieve academic success but also to enjoy memorable, meaningful experiences, acting as a bridge of friendship in the process of higher education internationalization.
