On July 20, 2026, The University of Danang - University of Economics (UD-DUE) welcomed a delegation from Yuan Ze University (Taiwan, China) for a working session and the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), marking a new step forward in academic partnership between the two universities.

The agreement reflects the shared commitment of both institutions to expanding cooperation in education, research and academic exchange, while creating new opportunities for faculty and student mobility and enhancing the international learning environment for students.

Speaking at the ceremony, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Doan Ngoc Phi Anh, Vice Rector of UD-DUE, reaffirmed the University's commitment to strengthening partnerships with leading universities across the Asia–Pacific region. He noted that international collaboration plays a vital role in improving education quality, advancing research excellence and supporting the University's internationalisation strategy.

Assoc. Prof. Wang Ming-Chao, Director of the GMBA/MBA Program at Yuan Ze University, expressed his appreciation for UD-DUE's academic reputation and development. He emphasized that the partnership would facilitate closer collaboration in teaching, research and academic exchange, bringing mutual benefits to faculty members and students of both institutions.

Following the signing ceremony, delegates attended two invited research seminars delivered by scholars from Yuan Ze University.

Assoc. Prof. Dien Giau Bui presented a paper entitled “AI and Stock Return”, introducing recent applications of artificial intelligence in financial data analytics and stock market prediction.

Meanwhile, Assoc. Prof. Wang Ming-Chao delivered a presentation entitled “The Relationship between the Construction of Knowledge Networks and Innovation Performance”, highlighting how knowledge-sharing networks and collaborative research contribute to organisational innovation and sustainable competitiveness.

Looking ahead, both universities agreed to promote joint research projects, academic exchange programmes and collaboration in university governance, while fostering innovation and developing high-quality human resources to support the internationalisation of higher education.
