UD-DUT's students received postgraduate scholarships abroad

With a 50-year tradition of training high-quality human resources, University of Science and Technology - The University of Danang (UD-DUT) always focuses on improving its academic environment, creating a launching pad for students to soar on their journey to conquer knowledge.

Recently, alumnus Tran Van Rin, who graduated with a major in Traffic and Transport Construction Engineering from the Faculty of Bridge and Road Engineering, received the good news of being awarded a full MEXT Scholarship for the 2025-2028 PhD program at Yokohama National University in Japan.
This prestigious university is a partner of UD, where many staff, lecturers, and students from DUT - UD have been trained and elevated at postgraduate levels.

According to Tran Van Rin, thanks to being nurtured in a learning environment rich in creative inspiration, he has diligently and persistently conducted research with the I-STAR group under the guidance of Associate Professor Dr. Phan Hoang Nam and Dr. Nguyen Minh Hai, experimenting with the AMAST Lab model.
As a result, he has achieved outstanding accomplishments, including publishing five scientific articles (two of which are in the prestigious international SCIE Q1 journals), participating and presenting at two international conferences, and winning the Student Scientific Research Award for two consecutive years.

Similarly, student Pham Thi Thuy Duong in Industrial Informatics from the French-Vietnamese High-Quality Program (PFIEV) at the Faculty of Advanced Science and Technology and student Tran Quy The in Civil Engineering of UD- DUT, also recently received an Erasmus+ Scholarship to continue her Master's degree at Côte d’Azur University (UniCA) in the French Republic.
This is also a strategic partner of UD as well as the university, with many experts and scientists coming to teach and collaborate on research, creating opportunities for more lecturers and students to exchange and enhance their skills at prestigious international universities.

According to Thuy Duong, this is a significant milestone that helps her continue her passion for scientific research in the field of technology. She is expected to study at Digital Systems for Humans (DS4H) , a training institution under UniCA that is famous for its training and research in various fields, including digital systems for the community.
