UD participated in InnovaConnect International Conference Series and Danang Semiconductor Day 2025

On August 30, 2025, the University of Danang (UD) actively participated and accompanied partners in organizing the InnovaConnect International Conference Series and Danang Semiconductor Day - 2025.

This is an event within the framework of "Da Nang Finance and Technology Week - 2025", considered an initiative to contribute to positioning and demonstrating the role of universities and knowledge in the context and development trend of the semiconductor industry connecting Vietnam with the world.

At the InnovaConnect Conference, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Le Thanh Bac - Vice President of UD, representing the leadership of UD, spoke to affirm the tradition, potential and core role of UD in training human resources, promoting innovative research in strategic technology fields, typically semiconductor chip industries.

The representative of the UD leadership said that in recent times, member training institutions have continuously improved the quality of training, enrollment, staff development, and facilities for related majors in the Semiconductor Industry field.

The 2025 enrollment results show that the demand for human resources and input quality at UD are constantly improving, creating conditions for member universities, training units belonging to and affiliated to carry out the mission of training and supplying human resources to meet the requirements of the domestic and international labor market.

According to Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Tan Hung, Deputy Director in charge of the Advanced Institute of Science and Technology - UD with the scientific presentation with the topic: "Low-power, high-density photonic interface for artificial intelligence and machine learning (AI/ML)" has affirmed the trend and need to connect interdisciplinary knowledge in semiconductor research. 

According to Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Tan Hung, UD always accompanies, actively responds and participates in science and technology programs of Da Nang city to connect and participate deeply in the global production network and supply chain, including semiconductor chips and photonics. 

This also demonstrates the determination in implementing Resolution 57-NQ/TW of the UD intellectual team, contributing to creating a breakthrough foundation for Vietnam's science and technology.

At the event, the leaders of the Vietnam-UK Institute for Research and Training (VNUK), UD also signed a Cooperation Agreement with Da Nang Semiconductor and AI Center

 (DSAC); The Center for Student Support and Business Relations, University of Science and Technology – UD signed a cooperation agreement with Sioux High-Tech Software Company.
