Five outstanding students from The University of Danang - University of Science and Technology (UD-DUT) have been awarded the Marvell Vietnam Excellence Scholarship 2026, reaffirming the growing partnership between higher education institutions and global technology enterprises in nurturing Vietnam's future semiconductor workforce.

As the semiconductor and integrated circuit (IC) industry continues to expand, the demand for highly qualified engineers and technology professionals is rising rapidly. Scholarship initiatives from leading international corporations are playing an increasingly important role in supporting talented students pursuing careers in strategic high-tech sectors.

This year, the Marvell Vietnam Excellence Scholarship awarded a total of $4,000 to the five UD students. Le Thanh Ban (Class 22KTMT1) received the First Prize Scholarship valued at $2,000, while four students from various engineering departments, including Phan Nu Kieu Hanh (22ECE), Bui Anh Duy (23ES), Nguyen Manh Chien (23PFIEV2), and Pham Dong Tra (24VDT), each received a Second Prize Scholarship worth $500.

The recipients were selected through a rigorous three-stage evaluation process recognizing not only academic excellence but also research potential and community contributions. In addition to the financial awards, students were provided with travel and accommodation support to participate in the official ceremony.

According to the organizers, the program reflects Marvell's long-term commitment to fostering high-quality human resources for Vietnam's strategic technology industries while contributing to the broader development of the country's innovation ecosystem. The Marvell Vietnam Excellence Scholarship has now entered its fifth consecutive year, continuing to recognize exceptional second-, third-, and fourth-year engineering and technology students nationwide.

For the awardees, the scholarship represents more than financial support. It offers valuable opportunities to engage with industry experts, gain insights into global manufacturing and supply-chain ecosystems, and build connections with one of the world's leading technology companies.
