On August 2, 2026, within the framework of the 2026 China - ASEAN Education Cooperation Week and the Closing Ceremony of the STEM Capacity Building Program for International Teachers, leaders from the University of Danang - University of Science and Education (UD-UED) and Guizhou Humanities and Technology College officially signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA). The agreement focuses on implementing key collaborative initiatives, notably international internship programs and student exchange activities.

According to Assoc. Prof. Dr. Vo Van Minh, Rector of UD-UED, this milestone marks a new chapter in the cooperation between the two higher education institutions. It opens up extensive opportunities to strengthen engagement, promote student exchange, and foster high-quality human resources within the framework of higher education internationalization. The MOA signing ceremony, witnessed by representatives from educational institutions and regulatory bodies of both China and Vietnam, serves as a highlight in the series of educational cooperation and exchange events between China and the ASEAN region.

Highly praising the international reputation of UD-UED in academic exchange and cooperation, representatives from Guizhou Humanities and Technology College expressed hope that this partnership will create numerous opportunities for lecturers and students to study, conduct research, and share new knowledge and technologies. Additionally, it will enable them to experience diverse linguistic and cultural environments amid increasingly deep international integration.

Under the terms of the signed MOA, the two parties agreed to implement a program welcoming students from Guizhou Humanities and Technology College to undertake professional internships at UD-UED. The program includes activities such as teaching internships, practical professional training, hands-on scientific research in laboratories, field surveys, and other mutually agreed-upon academic activities.

UD-UED will assign host departments, assist with necessary procedures, provide favorable conditions regarding facilities, academic environments, and learning resources, and certify the internship results for students upon program completion.

Additionally, UD-UED will allocate up to 10 internship slots per year for students from Guizhou Humanities and Technology College, offering exemptions from tuition fees, supervision fees, and providing accommodation support.
