UD-UFLS collaborated with JICA to organize JICA Chair Program 2025

On November 17, 2025, the JICA Chair Vietnam 2025 Program took place at the University of Foreign Language Studies (UFLS) - The University of Da Nang (UD). This is an international academic exchange program organized by the University in collaboration with the Delegation of the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA). This is an international academic exchange program organized by the School in coordination with the JICA Mission.

According to Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Long - Rector of the University of UD -UFLS, who emphasized, UD-UFLS always considers international cooperation as the core driving force for enhancing the quality of training, developing the faculty, and expanding the research scope. We appreciate the opportunity to learn from Japan's successful educational models, aiming to build a modern, integrated, and sustainable training environment.

Mr. Kubo Yoshitomo - Deputy Chief Representative of the JICA Vietnam Office, acknowledged the University's efforts in effectively collaborating with Japanese volunteers and affirmed the key role of developing human resources to meet the requirements of globalization and sustainable development.

At the Program, delegates heard a presentation on the topic: "History of Science-Technology and Education Development in Japan: Towards Brain Circulation between Vietnam and Japan" by Professor Watanabe Koichiro, JICA Senior Advisor, and Emeritus Professor of Kyushu University.

The event was not only an occasion for international academic exchange but also marked a significant step forward in educational cooperation, expanding opportunities for high-quality human resource development, thereby affirming the University's pioneering role in the global integration process.
