UD-UFLS hosted the National Japanese Speech Contest 2025

University of Foreign Language Studies (UFLS)- the University of Danang (UD) has just hosted the National Japanese Speech Contest 2025. The event brought together 10 outstanding contestants from eight leading universities specializing in Japanese language education nationwide.

Under the theme “The moment that changed me,” contestants delivered powerful and inspiring speeches reflecting personal growth and a deep passion for Japanese language among Vietnamese youth.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Dr. Dao Thi Thanh Phuong - UD-UFLS’ s Chairwoman of the University Councill emphasized: “This year’s theme holds profound meaning, offering students an opportunity to reflect on their journey of maturity, share inspirational stories, nurture determination and find motivation to overcome challenges.”

According to Mr. Mori Takero, Chief Judge and Consul General of Japan in Da Nang, praised the contest’s professional quality: “Nationwide Japanese speech contests of this scale are extremely rare and represent a truly valuable opportunity in Vietnam. I deeply admire the courage and preparation of the contestants who presented in a foreign language before a large audience.”

At the contest, Nguyen Tan Tinh – student of UD-UFLS won second prize. The National Japanese Speech Contest 2025 concluded with unforgettable moments, spreading the spirit of learning, connecting passions and opening new opportunities for Vietnamese students on their journey to pursue knowledge and international integration.
