UD-UTE has received the HVAC Solution Practical Training Center sponsored by Panasonic Vietnam Co., Ltd.

On May 5, 2026, The University of Da Nang - University of Technology and Education (UD-UTE) in collaboration with Panasonic Vietnam Co., Ltd. (Panasonic Vietnam), held a handover ceremony for the HVAC Solution Center.

The ceremony was attended by the following representatives from Panasonic Vietnam: Mr. Otsuki Shinsuke - Managing Director of Panasonic Air-Conditioning Vietnam; Mr. Ishizaka Makoto - Senior Manager of Commercial Air-Conditioning Sales, Panasonic Air-Conditioning Vietnam; Mr. Nguyen Ly Tuong - Senior Manager of Project Air-Conditioning Sales, Panasonic Air-Conditioning Vietnam; Mr. Vo Van Hoang  Design Technical Manager, Panasonic Air-Conditioning Vietnam; Ms. Nguyen Thi Tra My - Training and Development Team Leader, Panasonic Sales Vietnam; Ms. Pham Thi Phuong Trinh - Recruitment Specialist, Panasonic Sales Vietnam.

Representing The University of Da Nang were: MSc. Ho Long Ngoc - Vice Director of the Department of Science and International Cooperation; Dr. Nguyen Duc Quan - Vice Director of the Department of Academic Affairs and Quality Assurance; Dr. Huynh Minh Son - Acting Director of the Department of Student Affairs, Corporate Relations, and Communications.

From  University of Technology and Education (UTE): Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Le Hung - Rector; Dr. Phan Bao An - Secretary of the Party Committee; Dr. Nguyen Linh Nam - Vice Rector; Along with leaders of affiliated departments, faculty members, and staff.

Opening the ceremony, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Le Hung emphasized that industry partnership plays a vital role in bridging the gap between theory and practice, contributing to the enhancement of training quality at UTE. On this occasion, the Rector expressed his sincere gratitude to Panasonic Vietnam for sponsoring the HVAC Solution Center to support teaching, learning, and research activities at the University.

Mr. Otsuki Shinsuke stated that during its presence of over 50 years in Vietnam, Panasonic has always pursued the goal of contributing to society through industrial manufacturing. The HVAC Solution Center was established to provide an environment where students can directly observe, experiment, and troubleshoot, thereby gradually building their professional skills and readiness to join the future labor market.

The HVAC Solution Center is comprehensively invested in by Panasonic Vietnam with modern equipment and technology, including: residential and commercial air-conditioning systems; Energy Recovery Ventilation (ERV) systems; Packaged Air-Conditioning (PAC) systems for practical training and cooling during classes; and an air supply system for the Complete Air Management System (CAMS) room.

The CAMS room is equipped with smart integrated solutions to control total air quality in living environments, featuring air conditioning, ventilation systems, Nanoe™ X technology, IAQ sensors, along with central control systems and humidity optimization. Additionally, the center features the VRF central air-conditioning system and various models of wall-mounted, Multi-Split, and cassette-type air conditioners.

Following the ceremony, delegates toured the HVAC Solution Center to gain first-hand insights into the equipment and technology systems installed there.

Furthermore, a specialized HVAC training session was organized with the participation of technical experts from Panasonic Vietnam. This activity helped students from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering access specialized knowledge and hone their practical skills in a real-world environment.

The official operation of the HVAC Solution Center marks a significant milestone in the partnership between UD-UTE and Panasonic Vietnam. This collaboration aims to train a high-quality workforce that meets industry requirements and supports the development of the Heat and Refrigeration Engineering sector.
