On September 27, Vietnam - Korea University of Information and Communications Technology (VKU), the University of Danang (UD) organized the final round of the English Talent Competition - ETC 2025 with the theme “Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)”.

According to Dr. Huynh Ngoc Tho – Vice Rector of UD-VKU, this is an academic playground organized by UD-VKU annually since 2017. ETC 2025 aimed to encourage students to not only demonstrate their English proficiency but also to inspire creative thinking, social responsibility and global spirit.

ETC 2025 takes place from March to September 2025 through 4 rounds (preliminary, preliminary 1, preliminary 2 and final round), attracting more than 1,500 students from 515 teams. The organizing committee selects the 10 best teams to participate in the final round. 

At the final round of ETC – 2025, the teams go through 2 rounds of presentation and debate. The teams exploited ideas related to the 17 sustainable development goals of the United Nations, from technological solutions for transportation, agriculture , clean energy, to initiatives for health, environment and community.

ETC-2025 is an opportunity for students to both improve their language skills and contribute to spreading the humane message of harmonious and sustainable development for the future.

In the end, the organizing committee awarded 01 First prize, 01 Second prize, 01 Third prize, 03 Encouragement prizes, 04 Promising prizes and 01 prize for the most popular video on the contest fanpage.
