UD-VKU organizes recruitment seminar for the Japanese-Vietnamese Bilingual Program

Recently, Vietnam-Korea University of Information and Communication Technology (VKU), the University of Da Nang (UD), in collaboration with NiX Education, organized a recruitment seminar for the Japanese-Vietnamese bilingual program, opening the key for students to develop and integrate into the international labor market, especially in Japanese companies in the future.

According to Dr. Huynh Ngoc Tho - Vice Rector of VKU-UD, the business cooperation model for the Vietnamese-Japanese bilingual program between VKU-UD and NiX Education, with the support of partner businesses, has demonstrated flexibility and effectiveness in combining expertise, technology, and enhancing foreign language skills for students.

Representatives from VKU-UD stated that approximately 250 students from various cohorts have participated in the program so far, all receiving free Japanese language training from the businesses; and being supported with textbooks and professional learning materials. Significantly increasing the amount of practical training at Japanese companies.

This year, the Vietnamese-Japanese Bilingual Engineering Program is adding Computer Engineering Technology to its existing programs, alongside Information Technology and Semiconductor Circuit Design, to meet the demand for high-quality human resources from Japanese companies in the international labor market.

Representatives from the university leadership and expert Ms. Nguyen Thi Mai Phuong, Director of Training at NiX Education, provided guidance and advice on the program, academic content, and proactive learning pathways to acquire Japanese language skills, helping students quickly integrate into the international professional environment.

According to representatives from VKU-UD students, the workshop provided an opportunity for students to understand their learning pathways, proactively build their professional skills in Japanese, and especially to experience working in Japanese companies.

With its appropriate, dynamic, and adaptable approach, the bilingual Vietnamese-Japanese or Vietnamese-Korean engineering training model at VKU-UD creates opportunities for students to proactively connect with supply and demand in the regional labor market, preparing them to integrate as global citizens in the digital age.
