Two outstanding students from The University of Danang have been awarded highly competitive scholarships from leading European institutions, marking significant achievements in their academic careers.

Le Kha Tuyet Phuong, a recent graduate from the Faculty of International Business at University of Economics - The University of Danang, has secured two full scholarships for her master’s studies in Europe. She received a Danish Government Scholarship to attend Copenhagen Business School, covering full tuition (32,000 euros) and a monthly living stipend of 1,000 euros, with a total value of approximately VND 1.6 billion. Phuong will pursue a Master’s in Supply Chain Management at one of Europe’s top business schools.

Additionally, Phuong was awarded a scholarship from the University of Trento in Italy, which includes full tuition (9,000 euros) and a living allowance of 14,400 euros, totaling about VND 700 million.

During her undergraduate studies, Phuong earned several accolades, including first prize at the Da Nang City Student Scientific Research Competition, the University of Danang Student Scientific Research Award, and the Best Paper Award at the SR-ICYREB 2024 International Conference. She was also recognized as an Outstanding “Five-Good Student” at the University of Danang for the 2023-2024 academic year.

Nguyen Thi Thanh Nhan, a Data Science major at the Vietnam-UK Institute for Research and Executive Education (VNUK), University of Danang, was named valedictorian of her 2019-2023 cohort and has been granted both the Erasmus Mundus Scholarship and the Eiffel Excellence Scholarship from the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The Erasmus Mundus program will enable Nhan to pursue her master’s degree at partner universities across France, Spain, Italy, and Albania. The Eiffel Excellence Scholarship offers full funding for her master’s studies at Grenoble IAE - INP in France, covering tuition, living expenses, insurance, airfare, and other costs.

Both students credit their success to the dedicated support and guidance of their professors, as well as their commitment to research, skill development, and academic excellence. Their achievements underscore the growing international recognition of the University of Danang and highlight the opportunities available to Vietnamese students on the global stage.
