On May 31, 2024, University of Economics – The University of Danang (DUE-UD) held the event to announce the training of the Bachelor’s program in Auditing with ACCA International Certificate.

The event was organized by the university in coordination with ACCA as well as the companion of partner enterprises: KPMG Vietnam, Crowe Vietnam.

Also attending the event were Mrs. Helen Brand – Chief Executive of ACCA, Mr. Ren Varma – ACCA’s Head of Mainland Southeast Asia, Ms. Khuat Thi Lien Huong – Educational Leaderships Lead, Ms. Pham Nguyen Thi Ngoc Chau – Head of External Relations and Training of ACCA Vietnam, Mr. Nguyen Phuoc Long Dien – Director of KPMG Vietnam, Mr. Phan Doan Khanh – Senior Manager of Crowe Vietnam – Danang branch.

There was the participation of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Vo Thi Thuy Anh – Chairwoman of the University Council, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Van Huy – Rector, Dr. Huynh Thi Hong Hanh – Vice Rector, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Doan Ngoc Phi Anh – Vice Rector, leader representatives of departments, faculties, centers and many students.

Overview of the event.

According to Rector Le Van Huy, this event is the beginning of a long-term cooperation opportunity between the university and ACCA – a prestigious international association in the fields of accounting and auditing training.

This cooperation demonstrates the effectiveness of academia – industry linkage, realizing the university’s strategic commitment to continuously improve the quality of training and scientific research, create conditions for students to be trained to become experts in accounting, auditing, finance, tax, management consulting, contributing to the economic development of Vietnam and the region, overcoming challenges to develop and integrate internationally.

This is a program that students can choose after being admitted to the Auditing major at University of Economics – UD. It aims to train students to work in the domestic and international labour markets, especially foreign enterprises.

On this occasion, ACCA and DUE-UD held the talkshow “Career opportunities for students majoring in Accounting – Auditing and Discover the Auditing with integrated ACCA Internationa Certificate” with the participation of experts to help students to have more information, knowledge and experience.
