On 29 July, 2024, the leader representative of University of Science and Education (UED) – The University of Danang (UD) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the leader representative from Udon Thani Rajabhat University (UTRU), Thailand.

According to Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Hieu, Vice Rector of UED-UD, this is a visit to UTRU to promote cooperation, focusing on student exchange for internship and professional training in the 2024-2025 academic year. Specifically, UTRU will send students for pedagogical internship and research on Vietnamese traditional arts. UTRU is ready to receive UED-UD’s students to attend the upcoming student exchange summer camp in Udon Thani.

Within the framework of the signed MOU, the two universities will enhance the experience and academic exchange; promote research cooperation in the fields in which both sides have potential and strengths; cooperate in lecturers and staff exchange, especially in international conferences and seminars; boost the exchange of students as well as academic documents, publications and other information, etc.

In addition, the two universities will recognize each other’s credits, focus on cooperation in Vietnamese language training through which UED-UD will support the Vietnam Studies Center of UTRU.
