On May 22nd, 2025, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Hieu - Vice Rector of the University of Science and Education - the University of Da Nang  (UD), on behalf of the university's leadership signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Rajabhat Roi Et University (Thailand). 

The core focus of the MOU aimed to promote faculty and student exchange; collaborate on developing joint training programs and research; implement strategic and sustainable academic initiatives and activities; and enhance cultural exchange and interaction.

Previously (on May 20th, 2025), Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Hieu - Vice Rector of the University of Science and Education - UD also signed an MOU and MOA with Assoc. Prof. Dr. Thotsawat Sittawan, Vice Rector of Sakon Nakhon Rajabhat University (Thailand). Their focus was on promoting short-term student exchange cooperation and sharing experiences in training and research.

According to the leadership representatives of all sides, this is a significant milestone that contributes to promoting integration, enhancing the quality of training, scientific research and fostering international cooperation between the higher education systems of Vietnam and Thailand.

Also, as part of the series of activities connecting with Thailand's universities, the delegation from the University of Science and Education - UD visited and worked with Srinakharinwirot University.

At the Faculty of Humanities (on May 23rd), the delegation worked and discussed cooperation with the Faculty's leadership, including: Assoc. Prof. Dr. Anchalee Jansem - Dean; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sakulrat Worathumrong - Associate Dean; Dr. Attasith Boonsawasd - Director of the International Research Center; and Dr. Parinya Chimbanlang - Head of ASEAN Language and Culture Department.

This is an opportunity for both sides to share needs and collaboration potential, aiming to implement key agreements such as: the partner receiving students from the University of Science and Education - UD for academic exchange at Srinakharinwirot University.

The University of Science and Education - UD supporting the Faculty of Humanities in Vietnamese language training, enhancing exchange opportunities, cultural immersion, and skill development for students from both universities.
