University of Science and Technology – The University of Danang (UD) has cooperated with businesses to award 172 scholarships with a total value of 404 million VND to excellent students with difficult circumstances.

Attending the ceremony were representatives of leaders of enterprises, representatives of the Rector Board of the University and leaders of departments, faculties and 172 students receiving scholarships.

Speaking at the ceremony, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Huu Hieu - Vice Rector of the University expressed his sincere thanks for the valuable attention and support of businesses and sponsoring partners.

In the socio-economic context that the Central region was affected by the COVID-19 pandemic and suffered many natural disasters, storms and floods, the scholarships were a source of motivation, sharing and helping students overcome difficulties in life and study, Vice Rector Nguyen Huu Hieu expressed.
