On May 24, 2024, University of Science and Technology – The University of Danang (DUT-UD) held the ceremony of signing of cooperation agreement between the university and Cognex Vietnam Company, thereby creating opportunities for students to access and practice new technology.

According to Mr. Nguyen Viet Chinh – Business Director of Cognex Vietnam, on the basis of the signed agreement, the company will transfer 2 Cognex Machine Vision camera systems to serve training for students in the fields of Electricity, Mechanics.

Cognex will install and provide instructions on how to use the Cognex In-Sight Vision Suite simulation software throughout the implementation process of the cooperation between the two sides.

Cognex Vietnam coordinates with DUT-UD to organize training, guidance, and sharing of advance technology for staff, lecturers and students; organize activities to receive interns and recruit students on the basis of actual needs.

Highly appreciating Cognex Vietnam for accompanying the mission of training high-quality human resources of DUT-UD, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Tien Dung – Vice Rector of DUT-UD, said that Cognex is a prestigious enterprise with strengths in the industrial image processing, therefore the cooperation between the two sides brings many opportunities for students to study and research on new technology software equipment, thereby improving capacity and job opportunities for students in the future.

Representatives of the two sides shared their development strategies and visions, expressing their desire to promote cooperation in training, research, and effective use of human resources.

Cognex Vietnam highly evaluates the vision and strategies of DUT-UD for its long tradition, leading academic prestige in the fields of engineering and technology in the Central Highlands and the whole country.
