Vietnamnet Newspaper: The University of Danang announced 04 enrollment methods in the academic year 2023-2024

 

 

On January 2, the University of Danang (UD) shared that UD enrolled enough quota in 2023, and many majors reached the top admission scores in the whole country. In 2024, UD will maintain the same quota as last year and continue to select students according to 04 methods.

Specifically, the enrollment methods of UD include based on the results of the 2024 High School Graduation Exam; based on high school academic results; based on the results of the Competency Assessment Exam organized by Vietnam National University, Ho Chi Minhcity; based on separate enrollment schemes of UD’s member universities.

Depending on the training characteristics of the majors of UD’s member universities and affiliated units, the admission methods, admission combinations, and quota distribution among the methods will be different, and appropriate for each member university.

UD includes 9 member universities and affiliated units: UD- University of Science and Technology (UD-DUT), UD-University of Economics, UD-University of Science and Education, UD-University of Foreign Language Studies, UD-University of Technology and Education (UD-UTE), Vietnam-Korea University of Information and Communication Technology (UD-VKU), UD Campus in Kon Tum, VN-UK Institute for Research and Executive Education, UD- School of Medicine and Pharmacy (UD-SMP).

Currently, 03 UD’s member universities have announced the enrollment methods and targets for the academic year 2023-2024:

UD-DUT expects to enroll 3,500 students in 2024 with 6 admission methods: Direct admission; Separate admission, review of high school graduation exam results, review of transcript results, review of results of competency assessment exam organized by Vietnam National University, Ho Chi Minh city, review of results of thinking assessment exam organized by Hanoi University of Science and Technology.

This year, UD-DUT opens a new major: Electronics and Telecommunications, Microelectronics - Circuit Design.

 

UD-VKU

announced 05 admission methods

UD-UTE expects to enroll 1,700 students in 2024 with 5 admission methods: Review of high school graduation exam results, Review of transcripts, Direct admission according to Admission Regulations, Direct admission according to the School's Project, considering the results of the competency assessment exam organized by Vietnam National University, Ho Chi Minh City.

In 2024, UD-UTE will open 02 new majors: Electric Car Technology, Circuit Design and expected to open Robotics and Artificial Intelligence;


 

UD-VKU enrolls 04 major codes, including the semiconductor circuit design

UD-VKU enrolls 1,500 students in 3 fields including Computer and Information Technology (960 targets); Business and Management (460 targets); Journalism and Communications (80 targets) with 5 admission methods including direct admission according to the Admission Regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training, admission based on 2024 high school graduation exam scores, transcripts, and results. Competency assessment results of Vietnam National University, Ho Chi Minh City, and direct admission according to the school's Admissions Project.

UD-SMP announced enrollment for 05 training majors

This year, UD-VKU enrolls students for 4 training majors including Semiconductor Circuit Design, Marketing, Communication Technology, and Information Security.

Especially for candidates admitted to the Semiconductor Circuit Design major with high admission scores from 24 to 27 points will receive tuition support of 50-100% for the first 2 semesters.
