Students at the University of Danang - University of Economics (UD-DUE) recently participated in academic exchanges with leading international scholars, including Professor Kiyoto Kurokawa of Ritsumeikan University (Japan) and Professor Xuan-Thao Nguyen, Director of the Asian Law Center at the University of Washington School of Law (USA).

Professor Kiyoto Kurokawa led a seminar on “Economic Resilience,” addressing the challenges that economies face amid global disruptions. He discussed strategies and policies that support stability and sustainable growth, drawing on insights and case studies from Japan and other countries. The session also featured interactive discussions, enabling students and faculty to engage directly with Professor Kurokawa on pressing economic issues.

Meanwhile, Professor Xuan-Thao Nguyen delivered a lecture on “Copyright and AI” to students in the International Commercial Law program. She provided an overview of the evolution of copyright law and examined its intersection with artificial intelligence, offering students a comprehensive understanding of legal protections in the digital age.

These academic exchanges not only deepened students’ knowledge of economics and law but also strengthened their English proficiency, sharpened their critical thinking, and broadened their global awareness.
